This classic Waldorf learning tool is perfect for helping your toddler begin to understand the passage of time. According to Waldorf pedagogy each day of the week corresponds to one color. Monday is violet, Tuesday is red, Wednesday is yellow, Thursday is orange, Friday is green, Saturday is indigo and Sunday is white. 

• Each morning create a ritual to "wake up" the correct day of the week and remove the Nin from their vessel. You can place the "awake" Nin in the center of the tray until putting it to sleep later in the evening. 
• This educational tool can also be used for color matching and imaginative play. Allow your child space and time to explore this item on their own!
