The Arranging Game is a wonderful introduction to patterns and problem-solving and can be used in collaborative play! 

• Consider selecting one stencil board at a time and start without the use of the pattern cards. 
• Demonstrate how to fit different arranging pieces into the stencil board. 
• Model making a mistake saying, "this doesn't fit, I wonder what might fit here?" 
• As your child becomes more confident with the Arranging Game, consider creating a collaborative game, taking turns putting in a piece. 

Children's play should be monitored at all times
