This rattle is easily grasped, but will make a unique sound as baby moves it back and forth. 

Consider placing this item a few inches from your baby during tummy time to allow them to practice reaching. 

Care: Never submerge or rinse these toys in water. Doing so will raise the grain of the wood and roughen it. Instead, wipe with a slightly damp cloth to clean. Children's play should be monitored at all times. 

Skills developed: palmar grip, tactile exploration, auditory exploration, hand-eye coordination, and purposely grasping
