PlanToys Geo Matching Blocks

These Geo Matching Blocks provide an opportunity to discuss shapes while working on fine motor skills. Model taking each shape out of its base. 

• Model nesting each shape into its base. 
• Trace the shape of the base with your finger and then trace the shape of the matching shape before fitting it into the base. 
• Describe each color and shape using accurate language (elliptic cylinder, cylinder, cube, rectangular prism, triangular prism). 

Children's play should be monitored at all times. 

Skills developed: shape recognition, fine motor skills, nesting, problem-solving, coordination, and concentration/focus
