• Model grouping all the animals together. 
• Model grouping all the same colors together. 
• As you and your child are playing with the blocks, observe and narrate "I see you put the S (make the sound ssssssss instead of saying the name of the letter) block in the dump truck". 
• Allow ample space and time for building and uninterrupted exploration.
