The Snail Whirl goes from a more complex puzzle to interactive gear movements. 

• Consider demonstrating how to remove each of the gear whirls from the snail base. 
• Consider demonstrating how to put a gear whirl back on the snail base. 
• Consider demonstrating how to rotate a gear whirl on the base. 
• Do not be surprised if you child is not able to master this item on their first few tries. They may start by being able to successfully remove and return the gear whirls before being able to move the gear whirls successfully. Allow your child ample space and time to explore this toy. 

Children's play should be monitored at all times. 

Skills developed: hand eye coordination, fine motor skills, visual tracking, cause and effect, concentration/focus, and manual dexterity.
